Eddie Umphries Jr. is the Director of Nursing for The Recovery Village Columbus. He has over 30 years of experience in healthcare. Eddie began his nursing career as a staff nurse in medical-surgical units. He then transitioned into a leadership role serving as the Nurse Manager for the past 10 years for medical-surgical units, intermediate care units and intensive care units. He recently served as the Director of Nursing for a behavioral health and wellness hospital. Eddie is a servant leader who influences his team by building trusting relationships. As an agent for change, he focuses on risk management, compliance and creating a healing environment.  His nursing team is sure to deliver an excellent client experience.
