Devin Golden has worked for various print and digital news organizations. Devin’s family has been affected by addiction and mental health disorders, which is a large part of why he wants to help others who have either directly or indirectly been affected by these diseases. From February 2018 to January 2019, Devin produced blogs, news articles and other content for Advanced Recovery Systems, including sharing his own struggles with social anxiety.
Devin has experience reporting on crime, government, politics and sports. He won second place in the 2015 Gatehouse Sports Writer of the Year awards for a series on homeless youth in the Florida Panhandle and another series on why Florida’s public education system indirectly promotes the importance of high school sports over education. He enjoys listening to podcasts and has produced shows covering local news and sports.
