Not a day goes by that I don't think about the time I spent at Recovery Village. I'm currently 228 days sober. The entire staff was amazing. At no time did I feel like I was in my battle alone. I would love to return and volunteer, and tell my story. As I said before. You will not find a better staff to help you. I was able to learn something from each counselor. The BHT'S were also amazing. Recovery Village. Thank you for a better life. If I can ever give back. Please let me know!!!

Overall a very positive experience. I have stayed at the recovery village for two months. When I first got here I was unhappy and hearing 45 days felt like a lifetime. 30 seemed impossible, and now here I am at two months and 3 days. The environment is safe, people want to be here. There’s no arguing, support and a lot of help. I went through the oasis program and then did php as well. It can be scary to commit to the change but I found it worth it. If it’s trauma, addiction, whatever you struggle with they have what you need. The main complaints I have heard or had was you do have tape on your phone so FaceTime isn’t available during your stay for Saftey of other clients.. and snacks. Out of all things to consider, not a major deal. They will help you with therapy, education, and meds. I did feel finding sober living after was difficult for me and a few others. You can have care packages dropped off, family/friend visits as well as Amazon orders. Great connections you can make and I’d like to emphasize again, the people here want to get help. But overall this experience saved my life. I wouldn’t have stayed this long if it didn’t and I never expected it to. There activities like art, bon fire, trivia, yoga things to look forward to. You’re worth it, the time is worth it and I hope anyone who reads this chooses themselves. It’s okay to be selfish and again. YOU ARE WORRH IT! You got it! Thank you for all the kindness, patience, love and support I’ve been givin during my stay. Sure there’s discomfort and sacrifices, but your sobriety and mental health is far more important. We need you and you matter! Recovery village truly saved my life. Would recommend to anyone.

One of my biggest regrets was not staying at recovery village longer. This probably sounds like a paid advertisement, but every step of the way they were great. I’ve been to several facilities and I most highly recommend recovery village Columbus

I don’t even know where my family would be without this place. My brother struggled with addiction for years, and we had reached a point where we were scared we were going to lose him. This rehab center didn’t just help him get sober; they gave him his life back. From the very beginning, the staff treated him with respect, patience, and genuine care. They didn’t make him feel judged or like he was just another number. They took the time to understand him, not just his addiction. The therapists, medical team, and support staff all worked together to build a plan that actually helped him heal. The nursing manager, Amber, was by far the most amazing person in my brother’s corner. Amber was compassionate and understanding but set boundaries and held him accountable when he tried to press the boundaries. She did not hesitate to call him out on a way that was not triggering or upsetting to him. She has a way of interacting with people that just makes her special, as does most of the staff at RVC. During is inpatient stay, the staff supported our family too, kept us informed, and helped us understand what he was going through. Recovery isn’t easy, but they gave him the tools, structure, and support he needed to keep going even on the hardest days. Today, my brother is healthy, present, and living a life we honestly weren’t sure he’d get to have. And my family has him back too. If you’re on the fence about getting help for yourself or someone you love, this place is the real deal. They don’t just treat addiction — they help rebuild lives. It literally started with me making one call asking them to help my brother. They took over from there and kept following up, until my brother had finally had enough. Forever grateful.

By far the best treatment facility that exists. All of the staff is AMAZING. 3x ambassador here. And that’s in one stay lol.

Great staff, great environment, great treatment over all, 3 meals and you can get seconds, a good amount of smoke breaks throughout the day as well.

Unfortunately I've been to multiple treatment centers, but this was by far the best place I've ever been. I'm hoping that this will have been my last time in treatment, but that's because it was the most beneficial place I've ever been. I can't say enough good about RVC and their staff. Mel changed my life but all of the staff was wonderful. I hope to be able to work for a place like this someday!

From Don the chef, every single BHT, nurses, physicians, clinicians, receptionist, custodians and especially the group instructors. I was a life changing experience. I did not want to go to any place like this. I didn't think I needed it. Surprisingly, leaving Recovery Village Columbus after I completed my stay was a bit emotional. I feel like they saved my life. I must mention three people who made an incredible influence on me that I'll remember for the rest of my life. Josh, my clinician, Raynita, an amazing instructor and especially Dr. Melvin Timberlake, there aren't enough words to describe how wonderful of teacher he is. I'm so thankful for my entire experience at RVC.

Are you itching for a great place to start a new era of sobriety? Recovery Village Columbus (RVC) is full of that "itch factor"; the facility offers many suites with bedbugs to keep your mind from thinking about your problems. Also there are educated professional clinicians. These folks thrive on helping others and it seems to be working as the proof is in the banana pudding. The clinicians and facilitators are genuinely here to embrace others during difficult times of need. Their efforts are commendable to say the least. Many patients who do not attain long-term sobriety often return here for another try. This is certainly beneficial for "newbs" who often rely on the veterans to acclimate to the facility and many nuances of RVC living. Much of the orientation process is peer-patient led with lots of self guidance. Food is an oft-contemplated consideration when selecting a rehab facility. This review focuses on the dining offerings that cannot be articulated on the corporate website or when calling Advanced Recovery Solutions (the parent company of RVC). The food is reminiscent of familiar venues such as one of those large-scale chain buffet restaurants (remember Ponderosa?) which is comforting. Ever dined in a cafeteria with a stellar view AND a buffet with outdoor seating? It’s like that! But, as a colossal twist, there is no buffet, view or patio! Meal efficiency is paramount; meals are served in just 45 minutes), the facility has conveniently streamlined the food choices to a single entree selection. Accordingly, the carnivore line moves quickly and pescatarian, vegan or vegetarian folks can meander around the salad bar, engaging in conversation while searching for new ways to make the same salad different. This arrangement inspires a high degree of creativity and serves as a distraction to typical rehab monotony. Not much time passes before this nightly activity's requisite creative spirit will supersede Clients' normal addictive urges. Kosher items are not served by default, but the facility's website suggests reaching out ahead of time for special dietary considerations or concerns. Additionally, non-plant-based chicken is periodically offered as an alternative to daily meat and fish selections. After dinner, Clients can pass a little wind on one of the two elevators (often one is operable daily). Relax at the smoker's gazebo to digest your small, but delightfully chewy meal. Try the burrito and there is no doubt that your jaw had a great workout. It's like a Peloton for your face, with many Clients appearing at least a year younger after dinner! The cafe (this is the term used at RVC for cafeteria) offers two snacks...almost every day! In fact, one of the snack choices is often a delicately sized portion of freshly bagged and preserved fruit. Choose wisely for the evening snack; this is the last opportunity to eat anything without extra fees until breakfast is served the following morning. Hoarding of food items, especially perishables, is strongly discouraged. For those who miss the 15 minute snack opportunity, there is an automated vending option. Retain a credit card after your intake process as it's needed to operate the cashless vending machines. Clients like the many food and drink options. Pricing can be confusing, but they are posted in USD. Some clients assume there is a currency conversion such as pesos to dollars. Be sure to plan for the price of convenience. A debit card or low-interest credit card is the best way to fund any snack urges satisfied by the vending machine. TIP: Groups may find one of the snack options is deleted in the event of unwelcome behavior(s). Peers should manage themselves internally as to not lose this privilege. Additionally, the vending machine is a privilege, thus rubbish must be managed appropriately. If excessive/problematic, the vending machine becomes part of the "Learn-with Leverage concept" to realign the group and regain cleanliness and order. Bedbug updates to follow...

The facilitator Mel made my stay so worth it, hearing his story and getting help from him was absolutely incredible. I’m so happy he’s working in this field, he’s gonna save a lot of lives mine included. There’s also so many other workers and counselors that were amazing, helpful and kind. I 10/10 recommend the recovery village, this was my second treatment and I can say it was so much better than the place I was at before. If you’re ready for a change, they’re ready to help you!

RVC really changed my outlook on life. I want to begin by saying that I was at RVC for Thanksgiving and Christmas. As soon as I stepped foot in the door, patients around my age(27) took me under their wing. And shortly after, all patients did! So the patients really made a difference during my time here. The counselors were also fabulous! Andrea and Mel were so amazing. Both have made a lasting impact on me!! The kitchen staff were always in a good mood and the food was great. The BHT’s and nurses made sure we had top of the line care at all hours of the day. When people take the time to carefully explain your medication, you know you’re cared for. Nurse Chris, Heather and Diego always went above and beyond to make RVC feel like home! I have to say a HUGE thanks to staff and patients at RVC. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my recovery. I am from OOT and i’m coming back for my 2 month coin because of how amazing AA was as well. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of me and making me feel loved!! ❤️

I’ve been looking for a new program here in Columbus i need one that accepts couples. Do yall accept couples or do you know a program that does?

Words can't describe 118 days inpatient if you want a new life walk thru there door 24/7 the staff are Amazing ❤ it works if you work it they gave me a road map to a substance free destination much love 💘 to everyone that keeps the lights on at Recovery village 😘🙏miracles happen there 🙌🥰🎈

This was my last hope and I can’t say enough good things about this place. I came here at the lowest place in my life and after a month of treatment I am better than I’ve ever been mentally, physically, emotionally. The staff are all very helpful and any concerns you may have are taken very seriously. If you need somewhere judgment free to heal on anything drugs, alcohol, or simply mental health this would be my top pick. They also make sure you are set up with appointments, housing, etc before you leave. As long as you complete your program you will be taken care of even after your time there.
